Alexa is a retired ultra running competitor and CrossFit regionals team athlete whose education, training and experience revolves around hybrid training (better known as strength and conditioning) to experience increased strength, a bigger engine, and overall well-being.

Shelly assists Alexa is program development while adding some extra flavor for our athletes: 𝘺𝘰𝘨𝘢. By adding mobility instruction for our everyday athletes and fitness enthusiasts,  we can help take your recovery to the next level.

What equipment do I need?

You'll want access to:
  • Barbell + Squat Rack
  • Dumbbells
  • Pull-Up Bar
  • Kettlebell (can sub with dumbbells)
  • Bands (monster and mini)
  • Medicine Ball and/or D-Ball
  • Box or something to step up on to
  • Aerobic equipment (e.g., rower, Assault Bike, space to run, jump rope, step-ups, etc.)

How many days per week is programmed?

We program to train 4-5x per week. How workout sessions are set up:

  • Main lift + accessory lifts + metcon (4x per week)
  • Conditioning-only session (1x per week, optional)

Do you provide form feedback and an area to ask questions?

Sure do!

We have a private training group located in our Hard House community where our team is available to provide feedback and answer training questions!

It says doors open and close. Does that mean I can't join anytime?

This is correct!

Unless you're an active Hard House 1:1 client, we only open for new athletes once a quarter. Make sure you add yourself to the email list to get notified when we open again.

How is this different from 1:1 training with you?

Our 1:1 clients receive completed personalized and customizable training programs tailored to them, their needs, goals, equipment access, desired training frequency, etc.

For example, if we have a client wanting to specifically target upper body strength (e.g., building pull up strength), we construct a program that takes into account their current level and build from there. HHT is general program that can be applied broadly for folks who don't desire a customized program for themselves.

What is the cost of HHT? Can I see an example of the programming?

Visit our Instagram account to see several examples. Our program is premiering at only $49/month (we have a 3-month minimum commitment). This introductory pricing will only last through 2023. Those who join this year will be protected from price increases in the future.
